ABOUT CAIT: PUBLICATIONS & FEATURES

Hi there, I'm Cait.  Twelve years ago, I suffered a concussion while playing college lacrosse and was later diagnosed with the elusive Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS).  For most of my recovery, I felt isolated by my symptoms and struggled to find other people who could relate to my experience.  In the past few years, as I have started to lean into my second self, I've put work into developing curriculum, facilitating management plans, and creating space to connect so that we may all better understand how to manage persistent concussion symptoms.

I am not a doctor, but I hope to hold space that most doctors are not able to- to share my learned experience, build community, and reflect on the resiliency required to create a second self.  Thank you for visiting Concussed, and do not hesitate to reach out!
